Painting since 1986

Hi I'm Pat, or you can call me Pattycakes. I've always loved to paint and was a muralist/canvas artist since high school. My inspiration to become a face painter started when my two young children wanted me to paint them back in 2010. They often asked to be face painted, (when I wasn't looking they tried with their Crayola markers and side walk chalk), but I only had acrylic and water color paints at that point and would never paint them with such harsh paints.   I knew this would be an ongoing request so I purchased my first professional starter face paint kit from Silly Farm, the internationally known place to go to purchase face paint.  When the face paints came in my kids couldn't wait!  They were transformed into a puppy and kitty cat.  The moment they saw their reflection was my "A-ha" moment that could make any mother the happiest mommy in the world!  My mirror was a kid magnet and I found a new life passion- my addiction was born.  I can't put my brushes down!

Face painting on a live canvas is definitely more fulfilling than painting on art canvas.  Just ask any face painter why they do it and they'll tell you that "Face Painting is about the child in your chair".  No matter what age you are, that magical transformation is nothing less that FUN and always a Kodak moment.  

Over the past few years my hobby turned into a business and can be found at birthday parties and large festivals/events in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River County area.  I only use, high grade, professional face paints and FX cosmetics and glitters.  Professional face paints used are FDA approved and has antimicrobial, anti-mold, & anti-fungal properties built into the paint so it's safe to be used on children, expecting moms, & adults of all ages. All adhesive used (for gemstones) is made to be used on skin & is latex-free. All glitters used are cosmetic grade (not craft grade) & safe to be used on the face. ABSOLUTELY NO CRAFT/ ACRYLIC/ POSTER PAINT OR CRAFT GLITTERS are ever USED for skin application!
